For students, the best deal is to get a roomie or 2 and share a three bed apt that comes with a cool balcony and a DISHWASHER. Parking IS rediculous, so plan on the $25 or whatever a month for garage parking. You can walk to campus, so skip paying the U of Akron for parking. NO motorcycles are allowed. :-( Apts are in decent shape, usually. Frats get a little loud on the weekends. POOL isn't a bad deal. Yes, elevators often stink. Mgmt is a little moronic, but aren't they always' The POOL, easy access to campus, and not worrying about campus parking were what sold me. And all the cute girls running around...
