Great so far...

I've only been here for a month or so, but I can't say enough about this place so far. It's well-maintained, the people who live here seem to be very nice, professional folks (they have a lot of short-term corporate rentals here from some of Akron's largest companies...when executives and such need a place to stay for 3 months, they come here).
A large, but very quiet complex. Despite what I was worried about when I first looked here, you can hardly hear the activity from the nearby Montrose commercial area at all. The units are well-insulated and designed...minimal noise from adjoining units. It's an apartment complex, so you'll hear SOMETHING, but by far not loud stuff and most of the time you hear nothing at all. The most I heard is when the people above me were moving out furniture...they bought a house.
And that's what I'll be doing, so I did a short-term rental. Only bad news... they charge an extra couple hundred dollars a month for short-term rentals, but it goes back to the "listed" price after the short-term part is over (a little more month-to-month than the year lease, unless you sign up for a year). Not a biggie as far as I'm concerned...it's worth the bucks.
Perhaps reflective of the clientele here... there's very little noise/partying/disruption. Or at least, I haven't seen it (or heard it) since I've been here. But if you're looking to meet folks, everyone I've run into has been pleasant...and they apparently have regular events in the clubhouse designed to help you meet your neighbors and have fun.
Thumbs up, as the movie critics might say...especially for a professional or someone who's outgrown the "college party scene" looking for a decent, quiet place.
