I moved in August 15th, 2007 and so far it has been great! I came from the Akron Univ. area so I am well adjusted to noise and a disruptive lifestyle. Let me say that this place has been excellent to date. Even though the complex was built in the mid 80's you would never guess that. It is extremely well maintained and looks beautiful. A landscaping crew comes once a week to mow and do the yard maintenance. The entire clubhouse and each apartment building are cleaned inside by a maid once a week.

Clubhouse has a workout room, sauna, indoor hot tub and outdoor pool. Security cameras are placed within eyesight in each room, so if you want to relax at midnight in the sauna you can feel safe doing so! Complex is well-lit and safe.

The apartments themselves are very clean. My apartment received new carpet prior to moving in and all the walls were painted a nice off-white color, while all the moldings are painted white. No boring white walls here! The kitchen has some type of faux hardwood flooring, but it is still nice. The fireplace is a nice touch, too! Overall, spacious for our needs. My friend and I have a 3rd story apartment and so far it stays 65-72 degrees even on the coldest days. Each unit has a laundry room; we use ours for storage. Each bedroom has a walk-in closet; the master bedroom has a larger walk-in closet compared to the second bedroom.

The office staff are very helpful for us. I don't understand the other reviewers that trashed the office staff. Just like many other apartments complexes, Hunt Club has a central office that is at another site. Hunt Club, and two other seperate complexes, are managed by one agency. So when you pay rent you mail it somewhere else. Basically, if you have an issue with your rent balance or lease, the staff here are middlemen and can't do much. You have to work thru them to get your issue resolved. While not the most efficient way to do business, it does work.

The age range varies greatly. There is everything from college students to the retired. However, it remains very quiet and home-like. People are pretty friendly and courteous. Location is perfect. Even though the expressway is less than 2 minutes away, you can't hear it. Good mix of cultures here, too.

I opted to get a garage for an extra $50 a month and it was a good decision. You can get a full size SUV or truck in with room to spare for miscellaneous storage. Comes with a remote garage opener, too! Car ports are $25; spend the extra and get a garage and room for extra storage(DUH!).

Hey "anonymous" - I am, in fact, a tenant. I have grammar skills and that is why you quite obviously assumed it was an employee who wrote the review. You, on the other hand, use caps lock like you invented it. Buzz off if you can't accept the fact that I found a great complex to live in. By the way, my email is clearly at the top of my review and you can feel free to contact me if you need anymore of your suppositions debunked.

I have been living in Hunt Club for over a year now and I have lived in two different units. I completely disagree about the apartments being clean upon move-in. My first unit had new carpet and was moderately clean, but there were hairs everywhere and even stuck in the paint on the bathroom walls. My second unit has awful carpet and it was full of pet hair. We later found out from our neighbors that the previous tenants had a cat. The staff members are pretty nice, but we were very dissatisfied with their lack of concern about our disgusting carpet and floors.
