when maintenance came by to change my air filters, i was in the shower. they knocked on my door, then came in. my shower was right next to the furnace, so there was no doubt that maintenance heard it running. they then proceeded to stay in the apartment, finishing the work. there was no regard for my privacy, and when i reported this to the manager (who i no longer know who it is due to the constant turnover) i received nothing but nasty attitude. i pointed out that maintenance does not know who was in the apartment, that it could have been my wife or a minor home alone, and i was told "thats not our problem. maintenance has a job to do." notice that the maintenance staff would be by to replace filters was "sometime during the week", and the management staff here thinks that is sufficient notice. i told the manager i did not want maintenance coming into my apartment when someone is showering, and she said i had to request that at each request for service. i said i was requesting that for my smoke detector and stove, both of which were broken. she just glared at me until i left the office. i checked my lease, which has no phone number further than her office, and the website and all information that they pass out has no further number. this place blows and i cant wait to get out.

Hi...I just put up a chain lock on my door to use whenever I am home where I live. That keeps them out. It is illegal for them to come in without exact notice anyways. I am looking for a new apt, so now I know The hunt club is out! Thanks.
