This complex threw a party for all residents this past Saturday. The thene of the party was a Hawaiain Luau. I did not go because alcoholic beverages were not allowed and bringing in females from other complexes was also discouraged. Bored, I stayed home but my wife went. The following is her report (with one or two of my evil thoughts thrown in.)

We never get used to this complex. Every time we think 'such and such' is expected, this marvelous office staff exceeds itself. Saturday was an example.

Our previous experinces with these parties is to have the offic staff mingle-but only among themselves. Not the case here! Every staff member made sure that everyone felt comfortable and was enjoying themselves. Clean wholesome fun was provided for all family members (except me!)First class food was provided. In our case, neithr of us can eat any red meat. The staff gladly cooked up chicken that we provided. They never made us feel that we imposed on them. Instead they made us feel right at home.

In this case, as in so many other ways, thse people exceed expectations. And for this we are VERY grateful. Thus this note of public thanks.

But next time, please, hard liquor and plenty of 'chicks.'

I find it a little odd that this was posted right after a negative review was posted. It seems to happen a lot on this site with this apartment. I am not sure how throwing a Luau makes the place perfect as the reviews are listed here, and of course this was posted right after some others talked about how the staff there is rather rude.

The two nearly simoultaneous reviews getting postd so close together is a coincidence. In our minds: 1) The staff has NEVER been rude to us (although we were NEVER rude to them in the first place); and 2) the luau symbolized what we like about this place. And, from the smiles and happiness observed at the party, we are not the only ones who think this way. But then, as my Pappy used to say, "Mostly it is the bad ones who make their voices heard."

I was never rude to the office staff either, and they were never rude to me until I had a complaint. I went to them in a very nice way to ask if I could get some help with loud neighbors. The first time, they were very nice but when I had to go back again about the same problem, I was treated very poorly. NEVER was I rude to them.
