My wife and I were pleased to find a place between jobs that was so affordable. Kings Apartments seemed like a swell place.
We found out that we were wrong.
Management refused to believe us when we said there was a soft-spot in the floor, allowing us to hear every little conversation of those below us. Let's just say they weren't a happy couple..
Also between our apartment and the one below, a water pipe seemingly broke, but instead of fixing it, they simply touched up the walls showing the water damage. This leak lead to cockroaches!! (Do not get me started on the sorry excuse for an exterminator who allowed himself in whenever he wanted.)
The removal of ice and snow from the grounds isnt handled very well. I often had to push my wife's car out from snow drifts.That is, if I was able to do so, since the concrete steps were usually covered in ice. I was nearly hospitalized thanks a tumble down these same steps.
In all fairness, there is one or two legitimately nice and competant maintenance guys, but the majority of them are rude, impersonable, and reluctant to help you with your needs.
These apartments might be cheap, but that's exactly why they are!

I am a current resident and agree with this guy's review. It is a nice place until winter strikes, or until you have to deal with maintenance. But as he said there are a few of them that are okay too.

i agree with you....we had a leaky pipe under the floor. we told them that we would cut are stay short so that they could fix., but they said the problem was gone...........which i highly doubt. we stayed there for 4 more months.
