Do not live in Timbertop.
While I can agree with most of the comments posted on this website regarding the rude staff, thin walls, noisy neighbors and incompetent maintence crew...
what really got me after I moved out was how badly they have tried to rake me over the coals moneywise.
When I realized I would be moving I called the office and asked what I needed to do, I was told not to worry about it they would mark my move out date.
Knowing that they had posted my rent check to the wrong apartment on 4 seperate occasions, I submitted a letter in writing.
After I left they sent me a letter stating they never received notice and kept my security deposit.
On top of that they charged me for another month since there was no notice, almost $250.00 pro rated for the 4 days I stayed into the new month, $30.00 because the satellite company did not remove the dish within 3 days, $65.00 for new burner rings on the stove and $80.00 for removal of property which consisted of an empty box and some clothes hangars.
I am fighting them in court now and my attorney thinks I have a good chance of winning.
Do not live here, it will cost you way more than you could imagine!
