Unlike most people here, I have never had a problem with the staff or maintenance. It's the people who live here who are the problem. If you do not wanna wake up to ghetto ladies beating their kids, screaming, yelling, and making all types of noise look somewhere else. They're always up and always home because they don't work. The walls are crazy thin so its no escaping it, and you have a neighbor by every wall.

If it wasn't for the people this place wouldn't be bad, which is a shame. They should cut the section 8 and do real background checks.

I agree with the people being the problem. I have been there for 7 years now, same apt, and I have had neighbors come and go. But only this past year have things gotten really bad when the ghetto moved in down the building. They scream at their kids, beat them, and then let them run around in the front yard screaming and hollering and let them leave their toys out there. I understand you have kids, but please keep them in YOUR apt and in front of YOUR door. I really don't like coming home after work to hear their mess and noise, and you screaming at them! I also agree with the don't work part....and I really don't understand how one can do that AND continue to pay the rent...that is, unless they are out selling themselves or drugs. Timbertop does NOT accept Section 8...those folks have to live across the road. But you would think with some of the people that are living there currently that they did. Sad shame, really....

I agree,of course I don't live "down the hill"where most of the college students live. I live above closest to portage trail. I've had the same neighbors and haven't had a problem. A couple of the apartments that were on the same level had just been rented out and summer isn't here but it may be an interesting one for sure due to the new neighbors. My neighbor directly next door is great and the gentlemen below is a single father so since I'm on the end I only have direct noise from these 2 apartments. As for the dogs barking, When I origionally moved in you weren't allowed dogs only cats. I do hear dogs from the townhouses and apartments closer to the rental office. We'll see how this summer goes and I'll have a better opinion. As for my electric, since I'm in an all electric building summers are awful on the electric with the cheap air conditioners...so this year will have to leave the doors open--the only negative thing for that since most of my neighbors smoke and I don't.

Kids will be kids, why shouldnt the kids be allowed to play outside? Their parents pay rent just like you, yeah they have toys and can get kinda loud, but as long as they are not tearing up peoples property and respecting their elders whats the big deal? And for those who dont work they cant help they have a good respectable man who works to take care of his family, not everyone sells themselves, and not every stay at home mother is on welfare. To all of you who are complaining about your neighbors try getting a real job so you dont have to rent at(cheap, getto)Timber Top, you should really look into buying property(in the country):)!!

Most children running around in rental properties are unsupervised juvenile delinquents. Parking lots, access roads, and the greenspace in front of your neighbors unit is no place for children to be playing. If you chose to produce your spawn, what makes it the rest of the world's responsibilty to deal with their screaming and yelling. Your kids are NOT exempt from manners or required to be afforded special treatment just by the fact that they're children. I realize you think they're the most beautiful thing in the world, unfortunately for you the rest of the world doesn't
