A getway from College craziness

Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2009
I have lived in my apartment for almost ten months, and I love it. All neighbors have been respectful and keep the noise down after eleven, however, there is hardly any noise ever. Occupants vary from undergrad students, grad students, professors, and full time job residents. The complexes are only five years old so everything is really nice and new. Additionally, the apartments are located next to the Hocking River so a nice evening walk or morning run on the bikepath is no trouble. I am a single girl living alone and one of my biggest fears is safety. I'm happy to say I've never felt unsafe living here. The outside hallways are very bright during both day and night and are carpeted so there's no noise with people walking up and down the stairs. The nearby apartment office also has free tanning and a workout facility. As far as heat in the winter goes, at most I paid $35 in January when it was freezing out. The insulation in this apartment is the best I've ever had since I began living on my own.
The only negative about these apartments are the price. I have a one bedroom and pay 700 a month, which is ridiculous in this small town. If a couple were to share a one bedroom apartment however, it would be a deal. Parking is $200 for an assigned space for the year, which is cheaper than off campus paid parking lots. When I've had visitors come they have parked their car in my spot, or in one of the nearby campus lots that are open to all on the weekends and evenings. Pets are not allowed but many people living here have pets and the office doesn't ever say anything.
