I have lived at Eastgate Woods Apartments for three years now, and am only moving out due to a job relocation. If I were staying anywhere within the Cincinnati area, I would definitely continue to live here!

Eastgate Woods is located in Batavia, the eastern suburb of Cincinnati, and is about a 20 minute commute from downtown. This was important to me, because while I enjoyed working downtown, I craved a very different atmosphere when the work day was done, and Eastgate Woods provided it. It is a large and beautifully landscaped property that maintains a great deal of original foliage combined with neatly kept grounds. Despite the fact that the entire property has over 900 units, it still manages to have the feel of a wooded and secluded community.

The other thing that impressed me during my time here was the management staff and the way they related to their residents. Even though I only rented one apartment out of the 900 , the property manager still knew me by name and greeted me personally whenever we crossed paths. The leasing and maintenance staff were always courteous, professional and responsive, which again was tremendous considering the size of the property.

My girlfriend and I never had a safety issue in the three years we lived here, and we even referred her mother here when she was looking for a new place to live.

The noise level within the apartment was always kept to a minimum. If my windows and doors were shut, then the outside world almost never intruded.

Parking was never a problem, even when out of town visitors came to stay. We could always find a convenient space right outside our apartment.

Insects were also never a problem. We know people who live elsewhere and pay DOUBLE our rent who constantly have to deal with uninvited house guests. We had none.

Some people may describe a different living experience here, but I guess I just have always understood that when you have 900 affordable and well-maintained apartments, you are going to attract a lot of different people. Were there some young "partiers"' Sure. But they never stayed long... And for each young, single, college-age fraternity brother I can point out a handful of families, single parents and middle aged residents who just come home to live out a quiet life. My neighbor across the hall has called Eastgate Woods home for over 8 years! You don't keep people that long unless you're doing something right.

Amenities were another thing I originally questioned because of the single pool that is on the property. But I soon found that it was never packed, and always monitored by the staff and a lifeguard. Plus, when I think about the fact that I only paid $440 per month for a 720 sq ft one bedroom, I could have easily have used my monthly savings for a gym membership and still came out ahead!

What really put things into perspective was my apartment search that I recently underwent because of my new job. I found myself looking at properties in two different cities and in two different states, and always using Eastgate Woods as the measure I put them up against. I have found none that could even come close to the value you get for your rental dollar! Some may have had more, but you definitely paid dearly for it!

In short I would recommend Eastgate Woods to anyone who is looking for a place to live in the Cincinnati area. You are minutes from downtown, and the Eastgate area is almost like a self-contained city by itself. Everything from a large mall, to grocery stores, to every fast food chain known to man is a five minute drive away.

I know I will miss living here, and I hope whoever gets our apartment appreciates it!

This was obviously written by a leasing agent. You can tell from how it was written describing in detail the GREAT amentities that this place has to offer and handling everyone elses objections.
