Eastgates woods is okay for a first time renter. I guess. I live there currently, but am moving when my lease is up, and not planning to come back.

A LOT of the people who live here are PURE SCUM. I have witnessed and had to report several car burglaries (all which happened in broad daylight). Its a haven for child molesters, and other sex offenders. Every few months the Sheriffs office leaves note on ours doors telling us a new pervert is moving in.



Drugs drugs drugs everywhere, condoms laying in the parking lot, People using the bed of my truck as a trash can. Kids with loud mufflers on their Honda civics racing through the parking lots at 4 in the morning.



Eastgate woods "Maintenance staff" appears to be nothing but burntout 21 year olds with dirty hair and 10 facial piercings who carry a bucket around in the morning and pick up garbage. These guys are allowed to live here for free or cheap, and they are some of the noisiest trouble makers.



luckily I havent had any MAJOR problems myself, but I know MANY unhappy current and former residents. All my service requests have been met so far (leaks), but they did leave my bathroom dirty, and smelly.

So yeah if you are a teenager, a child molester or other convicted fellon, or just need a short term, cheap place to live, "Eastgate hoods" is the place for you. I certainly don't recommend it for families with children.
