At my wifes work a police officer told her that eastgate woods has one of the highest crime rates around the cincinnati area, and that he wouldnt live here without a gun. However, I have lived here twice and would again. Despite the hight stats it is well kept, the staff if friendly, and it is certainly cheaper than any other apartment of its variety and cleanliness in this area that ive seen. I have heard that there are mold problems for people who live on the bottom floor. People whou think this is bad should look at Edgecomb in Milford. At one point I looked on the sex offender registry and there were 11 living there. And it may be 1/8 the size of eastgate woods, which had none. This place is mostly old people and families with kids. Crime happens everywhere, and because eastgate woods is huge and cheap, some people may wonder hear, but it is still a much better place to live than many other areas in cincinnati.

Ha, I can name at least 10 other apartment complexes that are way worse than Eastgate Woods. My uncle is an officer for UTPD, and laughed when I told him about this post. It's more like the cream of the crop for cheap apartments.
