management tries to take every penny from you when you move out.
first of all they charge a carpet cleaning charge of 40 dollars upfront when you move in.
then when you leave - they take money from your security deposit to deodorize the carpet for food smell.
now - whose apartment does not have food smell if food is cooked at home'
and this is the first time I heard that a carpet cleaning fee will not cover removing the food smell from carpet.
they did not find anything else broken at home to charge for on moving out inspection and so they give this excuse to take money from security deposit.
