I have to admit that I had high hopes when Forest City took over Village Green. However my hopes were soon dashed when I realized that nothing was going to change. The staff is so rude and unhelpful that it is disgusting. Maintenance staff is totally incompetent. I saw that today yet another building caught fire. I will say that I am happy it is October and not January because the snowplow company that they use plows snow over every hydrant. When I contacted the property manager she stated that she had "no idea" what I was talking about and that all hydrants were clear. After placing a call to the Beachwood fire department last winter, they hydrants were finally cleared. I was scared to death to live there in the winter because of this. Residents beware and prospective residents run for the hills. This is not a good place to live. It may appear that it is ok at first glance but take a look at the rotten sinking buildings and faulty electrical work and rent elsewhere.
