Terrible experience

Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008
I spent a year at Mallard Landing. At first I was thrilled with the apartment, it was beautiful and the landscaping was always kept up so nicely. But within a month after moving in, the ceiling in my bedroom started to leak, and I had to place a bucket underneath to catch the water. I reported the problem and they told me that the roofers had come and fixed the problem, but the next time it rained water still was leaking from the ceiling. Eventually the roof was fixed and the leak stopped, but they didn't patch up the damage on my ceiling. I had to request again to have them come fix it. When they did (6 months after the original leak), they just painted over it! The dripped paint on my bed and my bedside table, they failed to even cover my furniture while working.
I found the staff to be mostly nice, but it seemed like they would only be nice to your face, then turn around and fail to respect any sort of request after that. When we told them we were not renewing our lease and would be moving out, they were actually somewhat rude. I also found the maintenance guy to be a little on the creepy side. I was glad to move out.
