I read the reviews about here and thought, "hey maybe things changed, maybe not as bad as they wrote." Lord I was so wrong!! I wish I could go back in time!

First night I moved stuff in here, my place was broken into, stuff stolen. Second night here, my car was vandalized! Just about $400.00 worth of damage!

Management lies all the time, doesn't do what it says. Just makes promises to get you in here. Then you're "trapped." It is CONSTANTLY rotated, so you can't even attempt to make promises kept! Four months here, 3 people I know including head guy is gone from the leasing office. They tell you that you have to pay all utilites PLUS common electric so they do not have to pay anything. Then to come to find out, no one reads any kinds of meters here for that. AT ALL!! You have to pay a place called "Heartland Regional Power Company," which in turns works for the Conner Group. Yes, that's right... you pay your rent plus overpay on your utilites to give them even more money!! For last month, just figuring it out some of us living here tired of getting ripped off, we are paying Stone Bridge for only 250 apts. rented out of 300 a little over $16,600.00!!! But after talking to "Heartland'" They just hang up on you. We are not allowed to "see the bill." Times this by a year, StoneBridge/ Heartland thus the Conner Group gets over $200,000.00 a year in utlilties!! Something is not right!! Theft.

Over a number of phone calls with Heartland, come to find out it does not matter your usage, as again, no one reads meters. It is based on the size of the buildings and what anyone uses for common electric. Like the last two months repair men working outside using the outlets. We pay for them. Also, I found out, if I go on vacation, and not here for any amount of time, even for the whole month, it does not matter, I will still have to pay the $67-75.00 right now, for just an single person. That' Is total BS!!

Now lets get into the police being here all the time like others mention. People smoking pot in hallways, loud music, and the office won't get rid of the criminals out here. So you do not feel safe at all. My friends' Will not come out here. One did till three cops cars were rushed out here as he was leaving, almost hitting his ride out as was.

Workmen' Always say they will do something, never do! I did not have an stove for over 2 months and 3 weeks!!! Did they give money back for me having to get take out food, or take it off my rent' Heck no! The apartment was not cleaned, blood on walls, bathrooms were gross, carpet has mold all over it with spots, like others have mentioned which they will not replace and is thin as heck. Applicances are WAY old!! The garbage disposal still broke, diswasher, screen door, and sparks from electric outlets in the kitchen. I do not care how supposely big this place is' It is ancient and for $629.00 an month, no security, it's falling apart, is gross, none of the repairs I was promised (well except one excuse me), were done. You hear everything, and you're really afriad to be out here. I'm not the only one. Last thing' If you are locked out or have an flooding problem another emergency problem' The closest handyman is in Englewood! LOL you have to wait over an half hour before he'll drag his butt here!

I can't wait to get out of here! Between rent, electric, and being ripped off by crooked Utility company which the Conner Group is an part of, you are paying about $800.00 a month for an 2 bedroom, which is an crap piece of junk with hardly anything working in it.

RUN PEOPLE RUN!!!!!!
