It seems like the staff is friendly to whom they choose to be friendly to. Some people can get things done for them at a snap of the fingers; others are put off.

Myself, I still have an old carpeting that should have been replaced before I moved in, and a real crummy kitchen floor, that was improperly laid. It has cracks all over it. Other people got their floors replaced without even asking a couple years ago, but I can't get anything done about mine. The walls are extremely thin in my apartment. I can actually hear my next door neighbor going to the bathroom, and I can hear the toilet flushing. I am sure they would not like it if they knew that. I can always hear the stereo of my friend's stereo next door, even though it is not that loud. I am sure she can hear ours, also, when we have our tv on, or radio. When I lived at Midtown Towers, the walls were thick. There was concrete between the walls and floors. Not sure what this apartment has. People around us have been moving out like crazy. And several people around us have told us that as soon as their lease is up, they are leaving.

Not everyone has what they need on their heater units, and they either end up freezing in the winter time, or sweating in the summer time in their bedrooms. Some people were able to get ceiling fans in their bedrooms, others have gotten blown off.

There seems to be a lot of favoritism around here. Some people they bend over backwards to help, other people they act as if you are bugging them, or wasting their time, and they don't want to be bothered. I guess it depends on who has money, and who does not. It does not matter that you don't cause trouble to your neighbors, and always pay your rent on time. Either they like you, or they don't.

In the five years we've been here, we still have not been able to get our closet door fixed right. Rent is higher than what it should be, and now they are going to start making us pay our own water bill, even though we do not have meters in our own units to show what each individual room is actually using, so if your neighbor takes three showers a day, and does two loads of laundry a day, you are going to pay for that, also, on top of the high rent.

Oh yeah, they do let section 8 people in, also. Most people show respect here for those around them, it is that few that don't that make it miserable for others. For example, last Saturday at 4:30 am, people were in the parking lot being extremely loud, with voices heightened. Also, at 2 am also.

We are definetly going to be moving soon.
