Let me start off by saying that I do not work for Stone Ridge nor do I have any stake in Richland. I am posting anonymously so I am not trying to brown nose anyone. These are my opinions and observations YMMV.

I really have had nothing but good experiences with Stone Ridge. I don't get the fact that people say Malani is rude. I have found her to be somewhat aloof at times but, that may be because she is busy from dawn until dusk. I think if people took two minutes to talk to her they would actually find her friendly.

Now on to maintenance: They have a new maintenance man named Dale that is spectacular. He is the friendliest guy you could meet and his family is great as well. They did have some other guys that were ok but they were pretty young and did not seem to know what they were doing.

Parking: I personally have no problem finding good parking but I do know some residents that have had problems, so I can see some complaints about that.

Noise does not seem to be a problem and I have been over many neighbors units. Yep, you get the usual apartment stuff, but nothing that would bug me so much as to complain.

Safety: This has never been an issue for me or my wife and I feel completely comfortable here. I think that people here really look out for one another. Berea PD always patrols regularly as well.

The Grounds: This is one area where they can really use some improvement. I am not sure who they had doing the landscaping but they suck. The grass looks terrible and the whole lawn really needs to be replaced. As far as dog crap goes this does not seem to be a problem anymore and many of the residents will drop a dime on you if you leave dog waste laying around.

Construction: The units are pretty nice and I have plenty of room. I can't really complain at all. I am proud to have people over to my apartment and they always seem to like our place very much.

Overall: I love this place, especially the neighbors. It's a nice place with nice amenities and friendly people. I am happy I made the choice to live here. Some people have nothing better to do than find fault with everything, especially other people.

11/15/2009 Just an update: The ground keepers seem to be doing a much better job(they fired the last ones). Place is still great! Dale is a saint!
