Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2009
I have lived in every style apartment imaginable....from ranch style apartments in Kent, OH when I was a student to Cherry Tree indoor entry in Strongsville, and now here. I am not a fan of Berea in general, but lived here because of BWC. These apartments have great private entries and we have a garage underneath our apartment. The office staff is amazingly friendly as are much of the people who live here (after reading some of the reviews you would think it's a frat party--I know the people they speak of and they are very nice people, but then again I live on the other side of the complex facing away from that area). I live on the quieter side of the complex. The apartments are clean, they plow when they need to though if you are an impatient spaz like myself sometimes it doesn't seem fast enough, and large dogs are welcome (our dog is 60lbs.). The interiors and appliances are nice, but because of the 2 beds 2 baths the square footage may be more, but I feel I have less space then my 1 bed 1 bath in my old apartment. With the sunroom, it doesn't allow for lots of extra sunlight in the rest of the apartment, but makes a nice office. The pool is awesome, but I avoid it on weekends, which is easy for me because I am a teacher with summers off. It's very close to the Metropark--walking distance if you're an avid exerciser/outdoor person. Therefore, there can be raccoons or other animals on the property. But I've never had a problem. Every now and then the compactor is on the fritz, but I'm over it--people just can't follow instructions. Also, the majority of people are responsible and clean up after their dogs, but others need to look up the word responsiblity in the dictionary. For the most part this is a pleasant place to live, I'd just like lower rent so I can save some money for a mortgage for how much we pay in rent here! But that's a personal choice!
