I work in the apartment industry and have moved around a lot in Columbus. I also have a lot of experience with apartment communities with my job. Please anyone that is reading these reviews should take them 100% seriously. This place is the most terrible place I have ever lived in. I have never had issues with the last 7 places I have lived before so I am hardly "sensitive" to apartment living. We have only lived here 3 weeks and it has been a nightmare. My wife is finishing her nursing degree so she had to cut back on her hours at the hospital so we were looking to save some money. This proves the old adage "you get what you pay for". The two bedroom townhome I lived in before might have been $300/month more but after moving here I would have rather quit eating than live like this! After our move in was pushed back 3 days to Monday afternoon! I was told 3 hours before I was supposed to pick up the keys; the apartment still wasn't ready! I lost my moving help so I had to hire movers to get everything out of my current place. The counter top was warped and bubbled up, there was a piece of molding going from the floor to the bathroom vent to hold it into the ceiling. None of my windows had screens and the screen door was ripped near the latch (near a spot where it looked like someone was trying to break-in). Freezer door was missing the front of the shelf. Some walls were painted while others still had dings and dents in them. Everything was covered in white dust. There were switch plate covers missing, outlet covers missing. Closet doors off with broken tracks. There is no parking anywhere and shady people that walk around the community at all times of the day and night. There are car break-ins all the time and then the community sends out a memo telling people that they aren't aloud to be outside of your apartment basically unless you are coming or going because there is so much burglary. There is no where for kids to play and yet most of the apartments are 2 and 3 bedrooms. They don't mention when you are there looking at the places that they have rules that kids aren't aloud to ride there bikes in the community or play in the grass because of "safety reasons". Apparently this community has a lot of less than desirable tenants because it used to be Section 8 housing and alot of those people still reside there. They are so poorly built I can smell the cigarette smoke in my bedroom from my smoking neighbor. It gets really strong in my bathroom where I have to run my exhaust fan 12 hours a day to limit the smell. Thank god it is just a cheap fee to break your lease because I have about hit my limit! If you know whats good for you DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!! And don't look at this and think its just an isolated incident because my neighbor said she moved in the fall and they had the same type of experiance. Don't think you are going to get anywhere with the property management either because I have talked with 3 people one the only person that called me back seems to just be talking with me to seciate me rather than do anything about the problems. Just stay away!

I live here, and I'm pretty sure I'm the neighbor who lives above the guy who wrote the posting above! We moved in October of 2008, and are moving out next weekend! I've NEVER in MY LIFE had so many problems living in an apartment as we have here! My oven has been broken for 3 months, it needs a new heating element and we're STILL waiting on the part. My garbage disposal is broken, and we're still waiting on that part too! I've had my car broken into, I've had neighbors threaten my family with a gun due to parking issue.. it's just a mess. I cannot wait to move. I'm literally scared for mine, and my families safety living here.
The shape of the apartment was less than desirable when we moved in as well, the carpet needed replaced .. the counter tops are bubbles and burnt. The list goes on and on. The rent here isn't that cheap either, we pay $789 to live in this Hell hole, which I think is insane for a 3 bedroom craphole!
I agree, DO NOT RENT HERE .. if you do, you'll regret it.
