The maintenance staff is fantastic. They always get here quickly and fix things usually within a day or two.
Bad thing is, the walls really are just toilet paper and water. I could not hang any curtains or mount a baby gate. Good thing is, you won't need a hammer. I put in all my pictures by pushing the nail in using my thumb.
The apartment itself is alright. I would have liked something more modern, and without the green carpet, but they seem to be making improvements. The lady across the hall from me just received stainless steel appliances; I also know that she contacts the office on at least a weekly basis, so perhaps you just have to bug the hell out of them.
As far as office staff goes, the manager is standoff'ish, but that's her personality, not that she's intentionally being rude. The regular lady that works in the office is really nice and makes up for the lack of friendliness from the manager.
I've never been in the workout room. The pool is usually great in the daytime, but gets very crowded in the summer afternoons. Some of the older kids "hang out" at the pool and the park and it makes me not want to take my younger children out during those times. You know...cussing, daring, typical teenager loudness, which is fine, but not a great example for my three year old.
Speaking of, the playground is great and both of my children LOVE going over there. The only downside is I wish they'd do something about the drainage running right through the front. It's always muddy and you can't go around it or avoid it, as it's about three feet wide and runs from end to end.
I like the digital security cameras...except at the pool. That's just kinda creepy.
