Unhappy Renters

My Roomates and I are very unhappy with the customer service we recieved from management. On many occassions we would need to initiate 3-4 phone calls before recieving one back. This was true for maintenance requests, general questions/concerns, and even when we were trying to respond to re-newal/non-re-newal of lease. It was also difficult to reach an individual when calling or stopping by the office during regular business hours. This was brought to higher managements's attention upon our leaving, and we recieved the same type of service/reponse (or lack of service and response).
The complex could really use some updating and repairs. In the first few months of our stay, we had to call maintenance at least three times for the same leaky, running toilet.
There could be better lighting in the parking areas; and the drive-way and parking lot could also use some repairing.

Another point to mention...
Pet fee is NON-REFUNDABLE $700!!! I just inquired with leasing... took 3 calls before I was able to get in touch with someone, they didn't return my first 2.
