I'm not sure what all the bad reviews are about for LOB. So far I've been here with no problem. I've seen complaints about inadequate street lighting, yet I see fully functional street lights and building lights. The staff have all been extremely friendly and accommodating to me thus far. I've seen plenty of parking - my driveway is a little short for a second vehicle, but there is always at least a couple of spots in the visitor section. Yes, people do need to slow down driving through the complex, but that's been a problem in every complex I've lived in and I do see speed bumps at the rear of the complex. As for the complaints about the rent being due on the first with no grace period - well, I guess pay your rent on time and monitor your money better so that you don't need a grace period (for the record, the complex I moved from had also gone to that policy). My neighbors are extremely courteous, and I haven't seen anybody hanging out in the parking lot or anything thus far I should be concerned about, nor have I heard any outrageously loud parties. Can't say much for the landscaping right now - after all, it is winter. As for the number of good versus bad reviews - the same person/people can post all the bad reviews just as easily as the same person/people can post good reviews...so take the opinions with a grain of salt. All in all, I don't see anything different here than the area I came from - same normal problems for a complex pretty much anywhere.

well, how long have you lived there, and did the manager (no longer there as of a few weeks ago) cuss you out on the phone and hang up on you? did you have outwardly racist neighbors swinging metal poles at each other in the parking lot in the midst of heated arguments? have you ever had your neighbor have his car parked out front of the building blasting music at 1130pm for his bbq in front of their door with loud children and other adults? did you ever have you park 3 or 4 buildings away from yours at night? have you had neighbors having constant domestic violence all hours of the day? i guess youre lucky, then. maybe the new manager will fix these things. i hope so! but things sucked last i knew.

yeah I agree with the above ... but the new manager sucks and lies...anyone who thinks this place is a good place to live must be deaf,blind and plain stupid!
