The manager and her husband are all about double standards. Tenants cannot have dogs or have people with dogs visit them without the manager having a major tantrum. Yet, she has a little yip yap dog that you can also find in the office with her during business hours. They are less than pleasant when talking with the tenants. I've seen her go after a tenant who brought their motorcycle into the main lot and park it. She started raising her voice telling him he couldn't do that. But her grandson can ride his motorcycle and park it on the concrete area next to the swimming pool. She also had the nerve to ask tenants to help water the flower plants she had under the porches last year but wouldn't pay them to do it. The parking lot is full of potholes that have been patched but keep reopening each year. Snow removal this year was a joke. During one of the big storms, they were out of town and didn't have anyone lined up to do snow removal so the sidewalks and the parking lot were a nightmare for two days. The previous winter two people slipped and fell on the icy parking lot because her husband didn't salt it. At least one went to the doctor's office. The walls are thin and I've heard some other tenants complain their apartment wasn't painted before they moved in. One tenant even had to call the health department on her because of mold in her kitchen cabinets that didn't get cleaned before she moved in and the manager wouldn't clean it. Getting the manager to have something fixed is a joke. You can talk with her on the phone and tell her you need something fixed but she will say you didn't or she didn't write it down. Unless you put it on a piece of paper and slide it through the office door you don't stand a chance of getting anything fixed. If her husband is out of town (which is quite frequently during the summer), it will take you up to a week or more to get something fixed. Overall, the price is nice but the manager's are the ones who take away from this.
