I have seen several posts about strange or bad behaving neighbors and while I was a potential resident, seriously considering moving here, I am also a VERY cautious person! I am a single mother with a young, beautiful and talented daughter. I do the best I can and want only the best for te two of us. That being said, I have been researching for weeks trying to find the best place to live. I am not familiar with the area and even if you are familiar with your area, I recomend EVERYONE check out a website called familywatchdog.us.....it is because of this I have decided NOT to move in here. There are 3, THREE convicted sexual predators on one street that is less than .03 miles from the clubhouse, one only .01 miles from the clubhouse doors. (on Carter's Grove) one of these men is a convicted RAPIST!! This is not a chance I am willing to take for my daughter or myself! The rent could be free, I do not care. I understand that some of these crimes were committed years agon BUT I am a firm beleiver that this is incurable. I am a rape survivor and do not feel sorry for these men nor want to be ANYWHERE near them. Check out the website and be aware of your surroundings, you will be amazed at what you see! I am currently a resident at the woods and have been for a while now. I am also a cautious person but I also do my research. I was concerned at first (I also have a beautiful young daughter) B/c The bus drops off and picks up within the community when i became aware of this issue but it is public record and so I called the mongomery co sherifs off and got in contact with the correct people to see what these charges really were. The one man the you refer to as the convicted raipist is not registared at that address and has never lived in this comunity per the probate court! And as for the other two men they were both the minimum charges they both had this happen at a very young age and our children all play together! I am a single mom and feel very safe in the home. I consider the woods to be my home, and I think, that if you are going to make such bold public accusations you should know your facts lady!!!!!!

I agree with this! Many of those convicted that they allow into the community or around the community were convicted of rape when 18 years old and the "minor" was 17 or 16.... NOT a big deal - some parents were just upset that their "precise angel" was "devalued" when really both individuals were consenting!

Also let me clear something up here.....there are several offenders that live or work close by. Three in the neighborhood. One was convicted of rape in 1996 (may or may not live there but for some reason that is their registered address) The other 2 that have been referred to as min charges where gross sexual imposition and probabtion violation and importuning IN 2006!!! These 2 offenders are only 25 and 26 years old as it is. Now feel free to look up the definitions of these crimes and you will see there is nothing minimum about the crimes and there is no excuse. It means that a 22 year old man (in 2006) was convicted of not only violating his probabtion he was soliciting or having relations with someone UNDER the age of 15! It also means that this other man was convicted of gross sexual imposition which means he impaired the judgement of another person, touched the genitals of someone under the age of 12, threatened with force to compel another,or the person has relations with someone UNDER the age of 13. So may be minimal to some but to me that is SERIOUS and criminals like that are not cured. They may not strike again today or tomorrow but they will! They are sick and need help but please do not accuse me of not knowing the facts! The information is there and anyone with children should get this information and be aware and make their own choices!
