It's okay, but beware of east-side drivers!

The living arrangements here are fairly comfortable. If I had to choose again, I would've picked a second-floor apartment instead of the third floor--it's a pain in the butt to move in, to bring in groceries, or bring in anything more than 40 pounds.
The one problem I was a bit peeved about was that I had a raccoon living in my chimney for over two weeks. I called the office immediately about it, and it took them that long to try and get it removed by a pest control company. I even tried to call the companies myself, but it had to go through the rental office since they'd be paying.
Some of the staff are cranky, but most are nice and polite. All staff are women, with the exception of maintenance.
There is no security service that I know of, but I could be wrong.
The staff often try to get residents to know each other through Arbors of Anderson parties at the leasing office or at the pool, but I've never had time (or desire) to go. The place is kid-friendly, but a lot of the kids go unattended, and that REALLY bothers me (resident problem, not Arbors's fault).
It really isn't the apartment complex that bothers me; I don't like this part of town, and have found it hard to tolerate the ignorant drivers in this area, not to mention the poor community attitude and lack of friendliness, even at restaurants.
One other complaint I have is about the plumbing in my apartment. When I first moved in (with a roommate), I complained to staff about the water pressure in my shower, and the staff member told me it was low pressured plumbing all over the township. About two months ago, my roommate moved out and I started showering in her old bathroom. The pressure in there is GREAT! Now, I'm ticked I had to wait six months to get good water pressure.
Overall, a nice place if you can stand the community.
