I have been living here with some people I know for a while now and ever since they moved in there has been nothing but trouble.
Firstly, They pay "extra" for the wooded view and fireplace.
The wooded view causes A LOT of problems. Sure you see the occasional animal here or there but since we have been here we have been invaded with spiders, pill bugs, and roaches. Constantly...
The rule is to pick up your animals feces but a lot of people figure since its the back of the apartments or the woods that doesn't matter so they leave the poop there or let the dogs poop right in front of our patio!!!
During the winter the apartment is very very cold. In the master bedroom all we could do was keep the closet door closed to keep some of the air out, in turn the closet would be FREEZING when we would need to get our clothes out. You don't want to put your clothes on because they are so cold.
The Water heater takes forever to heat back up or runs out to quickly because its small and not insulated.
The mold is ridiculous in the bathtub and toilets.
When we first moved in the gutters didn't hold much rain so it flooded the patio all the time all the maintenece men did was dug a huge hole in front of the patio.
The people in the apartment above have children who they do not make mind, so its often very very noisy. Sometimes even until 3-4 in the morning. They jump and run and scream. When we have talked to the office they do nothing about it.
DO NOT MOVE IN YOU WILL HAVE NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS

I dont have bug or mold problems in my apartment. Usually you only have that problem if you dont take care of things... its a nice place in my eyes.

We def take care of things. Constantly cleaning this place gets EXAUSTING on top of all our other chores. You shouldn't have to pay 800 dollars to take on EXTRA chores in a place to live

A of A was the only apt I've ever lived in where I had to scrub mold out of the toilet every. Single. Week. The apts must not all be the same, so at best, the place is hit or miss.

I really don't know what you all are talking about. I have not encountered any of these problems. I have NEVER had to scrub mold out of the toilet or bathtub since I moved here in November 2008. In fact I was totally surprised that the bathtub and toilet required such little maintenance. My other apartment was another story but this one is heaven. Do we live in the same place???? I thought it might have to do with the quality of water or something. I love it here, have referred a friend to the place that is planning to move here from Ky. Maybe other apt. in the complex are different from mine, but mine has been a breeze to take care of - almost unbelieveable. I will be here a long time!

I have lived at the Arbors for over a year. I can honestly say that it is one of the nicest apartment complexes that I have ever lived in. The grounds are beautiful and kept well. Amenities and social activities are plentiful. The apartments are very nice, with ceiling fan, chandelier, and chair rail in the dining area. 'Fault finders' are usually known 'complainers', I am sure. As for mold in the toilet, I would probably have some in there too, but a weekly cleaning with bowl cleaner or bleach, and mold is non-existent. That goes for everywhere from Connecticut, to Florida. It is peaceful here, and I am happy that I chose the Arbors, and have absolutely no plans to move. Why give up a comfortable way of life?
