Steer Clear!

I moved into the Arbors under the old management company, who had their flaws but nothing unbearable. The new staff (took over in Nov 04) is HORRIBLE. The have cut the amenities, cut office hours, changed all procedures, and are extremely two faced and condescending. I have had a problem with my heat for the entire winter and they keep sending someone over to check and then they tell me they need a second opinion. I have given notice and will be going through escrow proceedings at the end of this month or I will terminate my lease. I tried to work the situation out by moving into another apartment for which they quoted me 100 over what they quote a new renter --> great way to pay back a good tenant with excellent rental history. Oh yeah and they lied to me about the price and upon catching them in the lie they decided to schedule an appointment with me, which they then cancelled right before I was to go talk to them about it. I also have water damaged from recent rains and a broken toliet. Also, during the big storm it took a WEEK for them to do anything about the snow. They told another tenant it wasn't their responsibility to plow the roads, which were impassable without such plowing. All in all if you could get a good management team in here, the apartments are spacious but they aren't worth the headache. Also the rent KEEPS GOING UP OVER NEIGHBORING COMMUNITIES.
Oh and lots of hidden fees. Steer clear, it isn't worth it.
