This is a horrible place to live. I was shown a nice apartment upon looking for one and said the one i was getting was just like the one they showed us. Yeah right! the storage room was trashed, drywall torn apart, insulation on the floor, broken glass in the chandelier, leaking faucet in bathtub. Not to mention they had a white glove inspection signed by the property manager and i looked in the bathroom, hair in the bathroom sink, the tub was discusting, and the a/c didnt work. The previous maintenance man had fixed a leak that went through the celing, he caulked around the bathroom counter with clear caulk and didnt even clean the dirt so there is a bead of clear caulk along with hair and dirt all around the counter. Found a metal nail in the garbage disposal, blinds bent, balconly full of leaves and newspaper, outside light hanging from wall by the wires, water damaged shelves. I moved in sept 20, 2008 and now on october 14, 2008 they managed to fix the a/c. Now I have lost over 100 gallons of water because of that drip in the bathroom faucet. I even timed it, 1/2in of water in my gallon waste basket every 12min. Thats 5 gallons a day. They wouldnt let me get out of the lease, they wouldnt let me move in an appartment like the one they showed me and they arent returning any of my calls. They dont care. There is a hidden trash fee and its with the water company, its $8 a month. Im payin $709 a month and I should be paying $309 a month. They refuse to fix the water damaged shelves. I called the bbb and am still waiting for a response. They claim that they are with the bbb and they are not. The connor group who owns them are, well maybe not anymore since I filed a complaint against them. Im probably going to call the news also and see if John Matarese will look into it. This place is trash, I feel for all those who found themselves in a similar postion. I have been here 26 days and am giving them my 340 day notice that I wont be here after my lease is up. This place needs to be shut down...sadly I think they might end up doing it themselves because of their carless management and maintenance. Luxury apartments, ha! STAY FAR AWAY!!!
