My husband and I moved here about two years ago, upon getting married. Thank goodness our lease is up in 3 months! We will definitely be moving! While the apartments aren't terrible, they're pretty close. We were shown one apartment, and told that would be the exact one we would be renting, and then, suddenly, upon moving in, after signing our lease, we were given another apartment. This seems to a bait-and-switch that mgt. pulls on a lot people, based on other reviews on this site. The apartment was FAR FROM CLEAN upon our moving in, so we had to delay the movers while I cleaned the apartment from top to bottom. There was human hair everywhere in the bathroom and the sinks and tub were kind of "scummy," for lack of a better word. Maintinence is slow to do any repairs, I was 8 months pregnant in the begining of August of this year, when our A/C went out. My husband, thankfully, finally repaired it himself on the third day - by which time maitinence hadn't even returned our MULTIPLE phone calls. The dumpster area is CONSTANTLY overflowing with garbage, couches, beds, whatever. It's such a disaster that there are animals that hang out there at night to eat all the garbage all over the ground. Speaking of "hanging out," in the warmer months lots of "unsavory" characters hang out right in front of the mailboxes all night long. My husband and I work 2nd shift, and since the mail doesn't come until 3 or 4 pm, we typically checked it at night, when we returned home from work, that is until I began receiving "cat calls" and statements, that I'm sure were derogatory, made towards me in Spanish. BTW, the price seems pretty great when you first move in, especially since the Fields-Ertel area is quite sought-after, however, they raise your rent at least $50-$75/month every year, so my husband and I just learned that, if we were to renew our lease again, we will be paying $800/month for an apartment that, when we first leased it, was $649. uWDgQKY3Vkv8FKIsB8Ax

you think that's bad. my thermostat stopped working. i fixed it after calling. the constructions people broke the OUTSIDE window on the double paned windows. my door had been kicked in and luckliy they ran. police report was made maintinence never came to fix ANY of those things. then i moved on october second and got a $3000 bill charging me for everything i just mentioned. on top of it, not only did i HONOR my lease for 18 months, when i went to move they pulled this whole " you had to give us 60 days written notice. so now even though i moved out by the date on my lease being up, they are holding my reliable for rent 60 more days. just got my court papers. they are suing me in small claims court. and i plan on using ALL the testimony on this site as defense, that is really my only hope, ---- the "LUXURIOUS" Arbors of SCUMgomery!!!
