This was the most horrible experience I could imagine in an apartment. My wife and I took care of our apartment very well, but we still had bugs and a bad smell because of the age of the building. We are moving out as soon as the 1 year lease is up. They also have an unbelievable car policy. If your car has small amounts of rust, paint peeling, or a missing hubcap, then they will tow it. I actually almost had mine towed because of a small amount of rust on a door that I hadn't even noticed before. You can hear every little thing neighbors do, and people are constantly honking their horns right outside of your window due to the front doors being locked and having no buzzer. The price is the ONLY thing good about this apartment, and it isn't worth it.

You must have not tried to do anything about the bugs, because all you have to do is call the maintenance and have them spray. In addition you knew the car policy when you moved in. Aspen Village is the quietest place I have lived in. You have to expect some noise when you live in an apartment. There are people living next to you. The only way you can get away from the noise is move into the country.

I asked maintenance to spray for the bugs two or three times. Each time they did, the bugs came right back. I don't know if it was bad spraying or the number of bugs. As for the car policy, I did not know about it until after I had the moving truck there and was signing the lease. At that point, I could not do anything about it. If they had told me in advance, like when I visited or when I send in the application, maybe I would accept it being my fault. As for the noise, I have now lived in another apartment complex in Cincinnati for the past two years. In this apartment, I have had very little noise. It is nothing compared to Aspen Village. Looking back after two years, I still think that this apartment was terrible.
