Horrible place to live - Roaches and Rats From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 6/30/2008 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007   if you want to live with bugs and rats you can prefer this place. The leasing office staff is not at all cooperative and couple of ladies are very rude while answering your questions. They talk very well until you sign the lease and there after they will show you what they are. When i complained about bugs in the apartment the maintainance lady told me to bring some insecticide from walmart and apply it. Roaches laid eggs all over the apartment and there was no way for to control it using insecticides (Raid). When i approached the leasing office manager again regarding this she said i am keeping the food outside the refrigerator and that is attracting the bugs. i usually keep fresh fruits outside as i like to eat them when they are fresh. so final conclusion is if you want to stay in this apartments you should keep all your food inside refrigerator. i see rats running through the hole near heat frame (adjacent to the main door) now and then. When i spoke to couple of families who reside in the same apartment community they said they too are experiencing these issues and are planning to vacate as early as possible. The wall mount Air conditioner is so disgusting that if you turn it on you will get obnoxious odours. They are so dirty and not even maintained well. Looks like they were installed when the apartments were constructed. Finally they blamed me for all the above issues took away all my security deposit ($350) when i left the apartment. Coming to safety, it is highly unsafe to live in this community. Couple of guys were mugged when i stayed there and after that there was police patrol for couple of weeks.
