Brixworth

This place was unbearable From: MiserableAtBrixworth2 Date posted: 4/28/2008 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2005   My family & I lived at Brixworth for 2 years, and they were 2 unbearable years. The first year we lived here we were in a 2 bedroom apartment on the 3 rd floor. We had the most disgusting, obnoxious neighbors you could possibly imagine. The lady directly under our apartment would constantly bang the ceiling with a broom. Even if we were sitting on our couch. You could'nt sneeze, cough, laugh or walk without her banging her ceiling. We had so many issues with her that we were relocated in the same building to a bottom floor apartment. We had a 10 month old at the time who was learning to walk, so the top floor was not a good place for us, with that old h** under us. One of the other neighbors would play their loud annoying music all night long. The maintenance staff were gross and I never wanted them in my apartment, they were creepy and incompetant (nothing was ever fixed in a timely manner or correctly). The management were clueless and disrespectful. The carpet was disgusting, the previous stains came back in full force and there were a million stains. On the bottom floor we had ants everywhere, even little tiny red ants in our daughters dresser (and we were very clean). The actual apartments were old and the toilet flooded every other day, for no apparent reason. The floors were peeling up in the kitchen and bathroom and the bathroom floor had a moldy substance around the edges (EWWW...). Needless to say we had to get out of there a/s/a/p. We bought a house, thank God and do not have to deal with that bull crap ever again. If you move here, good luck because you'll need it!! I would NOT recommend this place to my worst enemy.
