Not great

I have to admit, I was very excited to move into a brand new apartment and the place looked great and was very quiet when I moved in. However, after living there for a few months, I'm less than impressed. It's obvious that the builders were just trying to get everything done without much attention to detail. Paint is on fixtures and the chair rail and there are drip marks and it's very uneven on the walls. The toliet seat broke after just a few weeks and the paint has been bubbling and flaking right next to the shower ever since I moved in. I also have a window that I can't open because it doesn't fit correctly. As for noise, neighbors are not very considerate. playing music as loud as they want, having parties at all hours, and playing basketball don't make for peaceful afternoons. And complaining to the office doesn't do any good - clearly they believe that someone's right to listen to music as loud as they want supercedes my right to not have to listen to the music. For the price, it's certainly not that great - I could get a pretty decent house for the same amount. I'll be staying until my lease is up and then I'm buying and getting out.
