I feel like every review is either REALLY positive or REALLY negative. I think this place has its ups and downs.
Positives:
- location
- maitenence crew
- pool
- Parking (which isnt too bad)
- granite tops
Negatives:
- thin walls
- the way they deal with issues
- Dumpsters being WAY too far away (they should have trash removal at each unit)
- Work out facility is not impressive
I am coming up to the end of my lease and I really can't wait to move out.... it is nice to come home to a nice looking apartment complex, but there are a lot of things they cover up. A friend of mine is a Fairfax police office. He told me a couple months ago that the Speedway at the bottom of the hill was robbed at gun point and the robber got away and ran into our apartment complex!!! And to make matters worse they DID NOT say a word to the residents!! When we confronted the front office about it they couldnt believe we knew... that really turned me off to them. Basically the gates provide a false sense of security. I would definitely suggest having a night watch since there is a pretty rough neighborhood not too far away.
The people above us stomp around all the time. It's just hard to sleep... The rent is steep and it's hard to stay motivated to stay there when there is no storage at all, unless you want to spend $75 extra a month for a garage space (which is small anyway).
The girls at the front office are very sweet, the movie rentals are nice, the tanning bed (although not impressive) is nice to have available... so it depends on what you want.
A suggestion to them: PUT SCREEN DOORS UP ON THE PORCHES!!!!
All in all, I liked it there, but would NOT stay another year.

I agree: I moved from Centennial a year ago and recently heard a story that someone had entered through the gates (which provide little if no security at all) and broke into several cars. Paying $1,000 for a one bedroom apartment located in MADISONVILLE (NOT HYDE PARK) is asanine.
But, the people at the front office are sweet. The pool, tanning beds, etc. are also great.

I'm moving from Columbus to Cincinnati and looked at this place yesterday. Thanks for the great review--it is very helpful!
