Colony of Springdale

Don't live here From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 6/3/2007 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007 1 response   I've lived at the Colony of Springdale for only 8 months and I'm already moving out. They don't pay attention to tenant complaints. The day I moved into my one bedroom, the light in the hallway outside my front door was burnt out; they still have yet to replace it, along with two other lights down the hall. Lights in the hall totaling at six. Within the fist three months of moving to the Colony, my garbage disposal broke and it took two to three weeks for them to even come look at the broken disposal. Along with the disposal my air conditioner has been turned off three times in a row, either by fellow tenant at the box or by the landlords themselves, all at times when the weather was well over 80 degrees outside making it around 90 to 100 in my apartment. The 24 hour maintenance is a lie. I've called multiple times for them to fix things and have had to wait at lease until the next afternoon if not the next week. The Colony isn't very friendly to people of Caucasian decent, sending tenants flyer's and handouts completely in Spanish without any English translation, leaving me without a clue as to what is going on. My shower head is falling out of the tile wall and my refrigerator has mold damage underneath it. Whatever you do, if you must live in Springdale; do NOT go to the Colony of Springdale!
