I lived at the Grandin House for six years, and my experiences were by far more positive than negative. The interesting neighbors, the responsive staff, and the conveniences offered by GH were far beyond my expectations for apartment living. In fact, I had intended to rent 2-3 months and then buy a house. I couldn't find what was as convenient or comfortable for me as the Grandin House, so I stayed six years. No living situation is ever 100% perfect, and I found the negative comments a bit perplexing to me since I could not identify with them.

I moved back to the West Coast this week, but I already miss the smiling faces of staff and neighbors and the wonderful diversity of the community in that apartment building. If I am ever back in Cincinnati to live, I will go right back to the Grandin House.

If it was so great...why weren't your ratings? I lived there & it was horrible! I couldn't leave quick enough. Between the weed smokers, maintenance disrespecting my living quarters, the doorperson gossiping about who hadn't paid rent and who the manager was sleeping with...it was worse than I could imagine in a Payton's Place...
