Similar to another recent post, I was first nervous to move to the Grandin House given all the extremely negative comments on this website. However, I found Jane to be very professional and fair - probably more fair than most. Sure, she has her certain quirks (no moving through the main entrance, one way in garage, nothing down the trash shoot unless it's a bag), but they are all relatively simple and understandable. When I just moved out I could not get the Brita filter off of our sink - when I explained this to her, she didn't get upset or charge me money - she just said "oh, no problem, we'll do that. It'll take a few seconds."

The staff has always been attentive to any issues we raised and the door people have been nothing but friendly and kind. I've not noticed any animal feces or anything of the sort. If it had not been for my roommate and I deciding to not live together, I'd probably still be living there.

Also: the building is clean, spacious, and safe. The area is very nice, and conveniently located to downtown.
