I actually lived in a different complex across the street from Hyde Park Commons and I would agree with the previous review. When I also moved in, the whole area was mostly young people and college students. Not anymore.

If you are a student, don't even think of staying home and studying because kids are always screaming in the streets and parking lots; there is no playground.

I have come home to see trash in the parking lot, broken window screens in the laundry room (one day after the whole building got new windows!) and twice the mailboxes have been broken by the children in the building.
I had to go to the post office to get my mail for a week.

The kids in the complex are constantly running around in the halls, and once they got into one of the vacant apartments and tore it up.

I would not recommend any of the apartment complexes on Allendorf Drive.
