Overall Lakeshore is a nice place to live. Your neighbors are pretty quiet most of the time. Every now & then I hear a stereo but you have to expect that in an apartment. Everyone that lives here seems friendly. The lake is nice. And the apartments are big. I wish they had washer/dryer hookups but it is an older place & they aren't equipped for that. I wish they could make them equipped though b/c it would make my life easier. The heat is paid so my electric bill in the fall/winter months is like $20. There's not central air but the a/c units work great. And they aren't loud. And again, my energy bill is still around $40-$70 in the summer months. Willie, one of the maintenance men, is just great. Very friendly & helpful. He goes out of his way to make you smile. I don't think I've ever seen him down. The other 2 maintenance men our friendly too, however I'll have to agree with the person who wrote their comments down - they do the job 1/2 ass & end up having to come back. If they did it 110% the first time they wouldn't have to come back. They also need to clean up after themselves. I'm a neat person & I don't like having to clean up after someone else. But again, overall they do a good job. And I trust all of them in my apartment. There's always some kind of complaint with apartment living. It's a big place & overall it's a nice place to live.
