Lakeshore apartments has to be the worst place to live in cincinnati. My experiences were: No heat in January, horrible office management, very mean and incondsiderate manager, things breaking off the walls, and goose poop everywhere you walk. I hope it goes under!

Really? The manager and office staff are some of the nicest people I have met. They have been nothing but helpful and considerate the entire time that we have lived here. The apartments are older but they are renovating everything and if something breaks, I've never had to wait more than a few days to get stuff fixed. The thing about geese is that THEY POOP, GET OVER IT. There's nothing anyone can do about the geese so grow up and get over it. Also, the manager might be nicer if you pay your rent on time and if you let them know if things break, just a little hint.

I love how people just sound off without accurate information. How you can you say if they pay their rent on time, that the staff would be nicer. I lived there for 1 year and paid my rent without hesitation or the grace period and Maryanne is still the dumbest person to work there. And if someone was behind on their rent, does that mean that you have the right to treat them unfairly? Thats like saying if my customers dont pay me their insurance on time I have the right to be nasty and neglect them. Hmmm... Maybe you should get your priorities straight and bite your tongue next time you have something crappy and ridiculous to say.

WOW! I cant believe that anyone can say the staff is bad here. I think those with the negative feedback needs to walk in there shoes. I dont think you could even take an hour in her shoes. I personally believe that she is the nicest person in the world. It is your duty as a tenant to report any problems. I think that most of the people here at lakeshore are wonderful but it is your job as a tenant to report any problems. For example if there is someone that has a BBQ grill on there balcony and they use it there, that is against the lease, you need to report it. The reason behind it is if it catches fire we are all screwed. As for the geese DONT FEED THEM. I dont like the geese but I live with it. It would be like a person living by an interstate and complaining about the traffice noise. I believe that anyone that moves here knows about the geese. I am sure they saw them on there tour. So in closing, it takes less time to complain then to praise. If this world would would take more time to praise the world would be a better place. I hope you may enjoy your new apartment.

First of all, if any of you lived in my apartment I lived in than you would be complaining all the same. The MAIN reason I moved from there was because in the winter when it was 5 degrees outside we had absolutely no heat. Our radiators were broken and marianne came in with a contractor and they both said they worked just fine. I lived in my winter coat for all of January. Now would you live with no heat for that long. My apartment was 45 degrees. We had a thermometer in there to check it as well and took pictures for the Mediation service that was going to help us have them fix our heat problem. That is against the LAW. The police even came to our apartment and said it was very cold even though they can't do anything. We did not know what to do. They would not listen to us. We froze our asses off for two months. I got sick from it also. Yes, they would come out and fix things but heat is a little more important. Try living without heat its not fun! Maybe you need to close your mouth before you tell someone to grow up. It has nothing to do with the geese. It had ALL to do with being without heat. I probably would have stayed if they would have fixed my heat. I chose not to live there another winter without heat. They wouldn't do anything for us. Yes I agree that marianne is pretty dumb and doesn't know how to please her tenants. Thank you very much.

To the above response: Sorry you had no heat, and that you fell ill over that. Lakeshore apartments is a nice place to live, The tenants that dont follow rules, well they most likely dont stay long any way. for your furture information, any apartment complex that you go to,if you have problems so intense as you say, most of the time you can relocate to another unit. or if you have renters insurance most of the time you can stay somewhere else until your unit would be ready again, you would have to check with your renters insurance agent for all details. so good luck to you and your family and always remember the grass is not always greener on the other side as the old saying goes.
