We were caught up in the glamour of the Lofts at Shillito Place. Everything was shiny and new! Lots to ooh and ahh about. Towne Properties had completely remodeled the old Lazarus building and it was beautiful. So we signed a one year lease. The staff was very friendly. Once we moved in, that?s when the trouble started. The elevators were always broken, grown-ups were constantly running in the halls, the walls were so thin that we could hear the guy next door loading his dishwasher (not to mention other things we heard), parking is accross the street in the Gramercy Garage (very inconvenient), our neighbors were very racist (when the elevators worked, they refused to ride them with us or the women would clutch their purses and stand in the farthest corner away from us, they would try to block the doors to the building so we could not enter, they accused my husband and I of selling drugs just because we are black, lived there and drove a nice car), there were 2 washers and dryers on the floor for about 18 apartments and dogs were constantly running the halls and barking. When we complained about the noise, nothing happened. We said we would pay for additional sound proofing, nothing happened. No response. Was it a learning experience' YES! Would I ever do it again' NO!!!!!

WOW! That's a pretty ignorant and throughtless if not outright racist response to a customer's specific experience. I guess thats why Cincinnati is such a popular place to live.
