I lived at Mallard Lakes for a year, and could not wait for my lease to be up! They have new management that just doesn't seem to care. There is almost no lighting at night, so I couldn't walk outside after dark. The lake stinks in the summer time. The management obviously doesn't care how it looks because they left that one measely looking american flag on top of the sign until it fell down. My toilet seemed to flood every week, and there were these scary looking things popping out of the ceiling in my bedroom. I would not recommend Mallard Lakes!

Wow! I had those scary thing popping out of my ceiling too! I thought they were left from a previous renter or something.
