I moved to Mariemont Townhomes about 3 months ago. I was pleasantly surprised to find something in this area that was both affordable and nice. There are a few quirks, mostly due to the historic buildings and all that goes along with that, but nothing I wasn't expecting upon moving in.

Pros:
*Friendly staff, responds quickly to maintenance issues, rent questions or problems, or anything else I have needed.
*Good selection of townhomes, each one unique. What you see is what you get, no surprises.
*Nice community, well-lit and nice appearance, relatively quiet except for the expected kids and dogs during the day. I haven't heard much, if any, noise at night.
*All appliances in good condition upon move-in, freshly painted (neutral but not white, *much* nicer), clean (except basement... not a huge deal).
*Lots of windows let in plenty of natural light.
*The yard is decent, I love the fireplace, and the floorplan I have is both roomy and practical.

Cons:
*I was told the tile in the kitchen would be replaced soon after I moved in, but I'm still waiting.
*Windows are drafty, I expect a high heat bill this winter... but then most historic homes are that way.
*No ceiling fans in bedrooms, makes it hot in the summer. In my master bedroom the window does not accommodate an A/C unit so it has been the hottest room this summer.
*Basement leaks when it rains a lot.
*Parking is sometimes scarce, but if you don't like it you can rent a garage.

Overall I really like it here and plan to stay several years if things continue as they are.
