The apartment is way too expensive for what you get. It is tiny with uneven, nail-exposed floors and poor plumbing. They talk up their renovations but within the first month of living their my doorknob, closet door, and toilet paper holder all snapped off. The toilet broke (I told them and they never bothered to fix it) and I didn't have heat for three weeks. Eventually they gave me a space heater for the living room...thanks. Every other day I had to try and dodge the couple of homeless guys who would blatantly ask me for money for crack. Traffic sucks, there is no parking. My car got smashed into because it was parked on the side street by the bar. The Cincinnati Police told us not to park across the street by Owl's Nest Park because people came through the park to break into cars for change and clothes. I knew three other people in my building who had their cars broken into, more than once. I had cockroaches and centipedes, even bigger bug problem in the laundry room. Ladies in the office are nice until you sign the lease, then they are smart mouth, inattentive to needs and will go out of their way to be mean. They do showings whenever they want, claiming they don't have to give you notice so be prepared to be woken up on Saturday mornings and interrupted when you're trying to eat dinner. But as long as you never sleep, do anything, or try to listen to anything you'll be fine, the constant fire truck and police sirens won't bother you either. Also we're pretty sure the guy who claims to spray for bugs stole a bunch of our dvds, as he had a key to the apartment and came over any time during the day. Don't be even one day late on rent because they'll charge you $50 plus additional fees. In the end they'll take most of your security deposit for pathetic reasons and tell you to f**k off. Big waste of money and a terrible year of living conditions.

I lived on Madison a few years ago and I absolutely loved my apartment. My daughter and I were please with the space, but it was unpleasant when dealing with management. My neighbors were great and I was more than pleased until I signed the lease. I can agree with the statements about the Ladies in the office. They are nice until you sign the lease, then they are smart mouth, inattentive to needs and will go out of their way to be mean. They do showings whenever they want, I forced them to respect my lease and they did, but with horrid attitudes. Maintenance would knock once and walk in. That was definitely unpleasant. They made me feal as if I was priviledged to live there. I was a great tenant and respected my neighbors as did they, but the management was less than pleasant!! I would look elsewhere unless property management changes hands. I don't remember the drug addicts, however, my car was broken into once.
