My favorite Cincinnati apartment

I came to Cincinnati for school, and went through 2 other apartments in the Clifton area before I found Park Lane. I enjoyed staying here and continued on a month-to-month after my lease ran out. People are friendly and smile and say hi, including the maintenance people. I enjoy having the flexibility of going to the gym if I want to. They can use new equipment for sure though. I also like having access to a fax machine for free when I need it. It's bad for your health to have vending machines for pop and junk food in the laundry room, so I buy something about once a month when I get cravings so it's nice to have for those occasions. There used to be a pool but they filled it to decrease expenses.
There certainly is a good number of elderly and disabled. I feel it is a more friendly environment that way because they are good people. Occasionally there are Xavier students.
During my 2 years there have been 2 managers. They are friendly. It is not hard to reach them (if they are not in the office the first time you try, you can usually find them at some point in the day).
The front parking lot often does fill up but there is always space in the back. It is nice to have the option of having covered parking in the winter, though going up the hill to the second floor of the parking garage is dangerous in the winter.

Utilities run:
electricity $40/mo
water $22/mo

It is amazing how warm my apartment stays in the winter (7th floor). The lowest it's gotten is 67 in the winter, and that is after coming back from work and having had the heat off all day. In the winter I try and keep it at 75-78. The most electricity I ever paid was this February - $65 because of the heating.

I've never heard of security issues. There are multiple security cameras on the lobby floor. uWDgQKY3Vkv8FKIsB8Ax
