Unbelievable! Did not receive entire deposit back!!! Said carpet was too worn when it was already in not great condition when I moved in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My advise to everyone within one week, sooner if possible, make a list of everything that is wrong in the apartment. Take it to the property manager, have him/her sign and date it and make a copy for their file. Then with your copy, make another one or two copies. Place them in envelopes and mail them to yourself. When you receive them in the mail they will be postmarked with a date from the post office. Don't open them but put them in a safe place. Should there be any question in the future and they try to sue for damages that were already there, you need to go to court with your unopened move in sheet.
