Ok, first things first. Towne Properties USED TO MANAGE this property, they were GREAT. They no longer manage it. I lived there under both. The new "owners" Paradime, are slum lords. Our arpartment had rats, no kidding lots of rats coming in. This happened shortly after they "took over". When my wife told the new managers, they laughed. Thought it was no big deal and that it was normal. The rats were coming in through a wall in THE KITCHEN!!! We spent days cleaning, spackling and repainting the apartment and they still tried to collect my deposit! I had lived there for over 2 years, and we left the apartment in great shape, probably better than we moved into it. After the new owners took over they instantly started renting to college kids and all the more responsible tenants moved out. Including us. That place used to be a great community of people. Things got out of hand fast and the new management was NEVER ON SITE. They actually sent me a letter when I moved out that I owed them money because the unit wasn't clean enough! Only rent here if you love stress and problems and noise. Good luck. BTW regarding the last review, dryers only get clothes dry until the heating coil goes bad. Just wait....it will...and they'll take months to replace it....milking it for all it's worth.

Seems like you and I crossed pathes with the same bunch back in '03. This is exactly what I remember, except insert cockroaches in place of rats. I did not experience Towne, only Paradrome. I agree with your assessment of that bunch entirely.
