This is my first apartment out of college and it was a not so nice experience. The parking lot is terrible. Other tenants "ding" my car all the time and it's almost like you want to park far away from everyone else just to avoid the dents and scratches to your vehicle. Maintenance is the worst!! They do not respond quickly to any type of problem (not even refrigerators not working, leaky toilets, falling window seals, or leaky roofs), and they have left dirt marks on my carpet and messes when coming to "fix" a problem. I also do not feel safe in my own home due to the fact that the outside doors are never locked and people who don't even live there can roam freely in our hallways and i live on the bottom floor. Speaking of the hallways, they always resemble some ungodly or ILLEGAL smell, and there are all types of dirt marks on the carpet which obviously needs to be replaced. And yes, tenants still have pets (dogs!!) although we are not allowed to and actually have the nerve to let them run around outside. Finally, the insect problem is out of control and no matter how much bleach I use or Lysol I spray, I still manage to have many different types of insects including roaches, and I do not live in filth! I would never recommend that any one EVER move here and I can't wait until my lease is up in less than two months. Thank God!!
