Probably the best in Forest Park/Springdale

Compared to the other options in the surrounding area, Remington Place is the best that I have seen. The office staff is generally very good and helpful. The grounds are very well kept. The apartments themselves show some wear being built in 1988, but are not abused too badly. They refunded my entire security deposit upon moveout without inventing imaginary repairs like some other places I have lived. The location is very convenient. It is easy to access 275, and there is a Walmart, Meijer, and mall very close at the same exit. Noise is pretty average for this type of apartment - it is frame constructin but in the the 2BR units, you only have 2 apartments adjoining yours - one above or below and one to the side, and this helps. Forest Park is probably OK as a neighborhood, not great but in 14 months at Remington Place I never had any problems. The biggest annoyance to me was the large number of solicators that knocked on my door trying to sell something - probably typical of this neighborhood. The buildings have unlocked doors to the hallways rather than controlled access.
